Model 290 data-stat
Just turn on the power and the Model 290 is ready to work for you - measuring
torque, angle, press-fit and cable tension. The 290 performs product quality
audits, in-process SPC, power tool setup and troubleshooting. Setup is fully
automatic, using INTELLIGENT TRANSDUCERS, and LOAD CELLS.
Operator Friendly
The 290 can collect more than 4,800 readings and analyses your data. It is
compatible with your personal computer or printer, plus FASNET networking
systems. The big four-digit numeric display is easy to read at any angle. The
smaller alphanumeric display prompts the operator through every function of the
instrument.

Two data-stat models offer choice of features
Model 290-3 basic unit:

Torque/force measurement using the patented Initial Peak method, an exclusive
Re-Torque algorithm and the more conventional Peak and Track Modes.

CW/CCW operation that records more than 4800 time and date stamped readings.

(8) multi-point calibration tables available for nonlinear belt and cable
tension applications (belt & cable sensors sold separately).

Selectable filter settings of 300, 500, 700, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, and 3600
Hz to meet the needs of pulse tool torque applications and other dynamic or
static load measurements.

Computes basic stats of X-bar, R, Cp, Cr, Cpk, Sigma with a sample size of 3-99.

Programmable Low/High limits.

User defined programmable data collection routine (audit route) with up to 20
simultaneous routes and a maximum of 150 operations (groups or categories of
parameter sets).

An I/0 port permits the downloading of preprogrammed routes from a personal
computer using the ROUTE GENERATION SOFTWARE.

Data memory capacity of 5800 readings without routes and 4800 readings with
programmed routes.
