The colour laptop computer provides instantaneous display of the recorded data.
The data (curves) can be expanded and labelled with information to identify
characteristics and features. Using the WINDOWS(TM) features, the data graphs
can be filed or presented as many as 8 individual graphs on the same screen.
The data can be printed as well as stored in a data file for future reference
and comparison.
The TORKDUCER (non-contact) rotating torque sensors plug directly into the
Model 846. Both the square drive and shaft to shaft series sensors can be used.
Dynamometer tests and analysis as well as PULSE TOOL testing and analysis is
possible with the Model 846.
The optional Joint Profile Simulator can duplicate a rotating fastener joint.
The captured profile drives our patented Magnetorheological Brake to control a
power tool exactly as the threaded joint would.
The Model 946 accepts all GSE Intelligent transducers, for automatic setup and
calibration.
The WINDOWS based software program is extremely user friendly. It incorporates
all of the features of WINDOWS (especially the wizard) along with many unique
features for ease of setup and data collection.
The Model 846 is a digital data collector for all long term and instantaneous
electrical and physical measurement signals.
